1993 Mustang Foxbody LS swapped Re wire !
The customer came to me to rewire their 93 mustang foxbody, it was custom wired in the past with the old body harness spliced into. They had their engine running of a Holley dominator, 3 fuel pumps, Trans fans and Water intercooler in the trunk. They did some upgrading on the engine and thought it was time for a rewire which you can tell was Necessary ! The first Step was to remove all the old wiring.
Once the old wiring was pulled out , I planned to replace it with a Eaton busman Fusebox. The fuse box has two Busbars allowing me to make one busbar constant power to half of the fuses and the other I made key on by having a starter Relay power the busbar once the vehicle was keyed on. This also allowed the Trans fan, Cooler and other options be controlled by a rocker switch
Rear body harness was built from scratch using DT connectors to make it easily plug and play! In the trunk a new fusebox was built. The main fuel pump and one secondary pump would turn on by the ecu, then the other two pumps in the surge tank would turn on after hitting a certain amount of boost!
Got the new fusebox in and started cleaning up the dash. Half of the fuses were key on powered by a starter relay that powers the fusebox busbar. While the other busbar on the box would get 12v all the time.
